The first difference is that Google can monitor your email, whereas they couldn't before. Google will also remove all irrelevant adds from your screen since they could monitor your searches. Finally they will allow you to tweak your privacy settings.

Personally, I would rather Google stay the same, because I would like to be able to use Google without being watched in everything I do.

eBay v. MercExchange
In the court case between eBay and MercExchange, eBay sued MercExchange for creating a site very similar to eBay despite eBay's patent. Only eBay and MercExchange were involved and eBay won. The site didn't list or say anything about fines or fees about the case.

Internet Safety
Internet safety is using common sense on the internet. The three most things about being safe on the internet is to never give out information about you, where you live, where you go to school, who your friends are, what you do, etc. The next thing is to ignore e-mails from unknown senders or companies. Third, don't talk to people you don't know since they could be anybody. They could say that they are your age and just like you, but actually be a 57-year-old creeper. Personally, what Deputy Krupp told us was just a refresher to me. But some things that I could do is be more careful about who I accept friend requests from on Facebook.

Feed Readers
Mrs.Lundquist made us compare and contrast Google Reader with either FeedDemon or bloglines.com. I chose to do bloglines and found that it was easy enough to search for sites,it was relatively difficult to find sites that I had interest in. Whereas Google Reader was very simple to navigate AND it had results for anything I put in. If I had to decide which one I had to use, I'd choose Google Reader hands down.
